Hi, ladies!

The "Women's Clergy Network" participants have been asked if they could
assist in preparing sandwiches for Sunday morning, October 28th for the
refreshments that afternoon.

Just when you thought that "Woman, go make me a sandwich" had become something most people only said jokingly, the Seminary is here to remind us that gender stereotypes are alive and well. For some reason the fact that it's not just any food, but sandwiches in particular, makes it worse. Here's to hoping some men's group will be asked to make sandwiches for the next event and this was all a misunderstanding on my part.
